Family fun with fun and Christmas dreams generated many a smile at the Peninsula Kiwanis breakfast on Dec. 17.

At the Peninsula Kiwanis Christmas Dream Breakfast at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Inwood on Dec. 17, there were smiles, photos with Santa Claus and a tasty assortment of food, but most of all Christmas dreams came true.
The program, created 32 years ago has continued to grow and this year, Kiwanis collected more than 800 toys with 600 already distributed.
Kiwanis also gave out coats, gloves, hats and hygiene supplies.
Kiwanis members attended the pancake breakfast, and members prepared and served the food and wrapped presents for the children. The Hewlett High School Key Club volunteered their time at the event as well.
