Connecting through food at Apron Masters in Woodmere

Posted

The Hewlett-Woodmere Business Association welcomed Apron Masters Kitchen to the neighborhood with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Feb. 26. The business at 956 Broadway in Woodmere is owned by business partners Sharona Furman and Roee Mordechai.

Apron Masters will serve as a recreational kosher cooking school that will host cooking classes, demonstrations and competitions.

Mordechai grew up in Hewlett Bay Park and said this has been a “passion project” for him. “This will be a place where people can connect through food,” Mordechai said. “We’ve been working on this idea for a long time and I’m excited to get it going.”
