There is no snow but a soaking rain could led to coastal flooding, according to the National Weather Service, then temperatures are expected to drop Sunday night into Monday resulting in icy, hazrdous conditions.

Town of Hempstead Supervisor Laura Gillden tweeted that the town is "prepared for whatever Mother Nature throws our way." She said that the town has 40,000 tons of salt to help avert road icing.
Village of Cedarhurst officials said that safety is a priority. Avoid all unnecessary travel. Take precautions when walking as the ground could be icy.
"Our crews are ready to roll for hazardous conditions, but I cannot empahsize this enough: please stay off the roads and stay home unless absoutely necessary," County Executive Laura Curran tweeted.
