Arrests

INWOOD- Chana B. Scott, 18, of Far Rockaway, was arrested for shoplifting from a supermarket on Burnside Avenue at 11:30 a.m. on April 18, police said.

Grand larceny – motor vehicle

LAWRENCE-A tan 2001 Nissan was stolen on Bernard Street between 8 a.m. on April 18 and 9:30 a.m. on April 19, according to police.

WOODMERE-Between 7:15 p.m. on April 20 and noon on April 22, a black 2013 Toyota Sienna was taken on Cambridge Road, police said.

LAWRENCE-On Doughty Boulevard, a gray 2008 Ford Econoline van was stolen between 8 p.m. on April 20 and 8:45 p.m. on April 22, authorities said.

Larceny from auto

HEWLETT-Property was taken from a man’s vehicle parked on Broadway between 6:30 p.m. on April 19 and 12:45 p.m. on April 20, officials said.

CEDARHURST-A man reported at 8 p.m. on April 20 that items were taken from his unlocked vehicle on Kensington Place, according to police.

Criminal mischief to auto

INWOOD-Both mirrors of a man’s vehicle parked on Bayview Avenue were damaged between 3 and 8 p.m. on April 22, authorities said.
