Kids from the Hewlett-Lawrence Soccer Club received awards and enjoyed a night of swimming and beach soccer at the Sands Beach Club in Atlantic Beach on June 8 in celebration of the end of their season.
The co-ed team plays on weekends and has more than 700 kids, ages three to 16, and includes 12 travel teams that play at Lawrence Middle School, Woodmere Middle School, the Atlantic Beach Bridge field, Franklin Early Childhood Center and North Woodmere Park.
TOPSoccer, a program for special needs children, also operates through the club.
