Hewlett-Woodmere and Lawrence students honored by Nassau BOCES

Kimberly Galan from the Lawrence School District and Jade Essner and Maite Guillen Dominguez from the Hewlett-Woodmere School District were named Students of the Quarter at Nassau BOCES Barry Tech career and technical education high school based on grades, attendance, work ethic and preparedness.

Galan is studying nurse assisting, Essner is an animation and digital media design student and Dominguez is studying to become a physical therapy aide. All Students of the Month have taken the initiative on class projects and are role models for their fellow students, in both the classroom and the workplace.
