6-year-old suffered serious injuries

A 6-year-old Inwood boy was struck by a car in front of his Clinton Strreet residence. He was taken by police helicopter to Nassau University Medical Cnter with srious injuries.

A 6-year-old by was hit by a car in front of his Inwood residence at 42 Clinton Street at 4 p.m. on Sept. 2, police and fire officials said.
The boy, who sustained serious injuries, was taken by Nassau Police helicopter to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
Inwood’s fire department also responded to the scene. Clinton Street between Wanser and Mott avenues was closed for more than two hours.
