Lawrence Board of Education meeting canceled

The Lawrence Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday was canceled, district officials said.

Monday's Lawrence Board of Education meeting scheduled for the Number Two School in Inwood has been canceled.

Superintendent Gary Schall said a quorum, the minimum number of people needed for the board to meet, could not be raised.

The Lawrence board has seven members. so at least four are needed to hold a meeting.
