Lawrence Elementary School students show their talents

Twenty-five students, 19 acts and one DJ, along with the Lawrence Elementary School faculty and the Parent Teacher Association collaborated on bringing the third annual LES Got Talent to fruition in the Broadway Campus auditorium on Jan. 31.

Joseph Riccardi performed Beethoven’s Symphony #5 on piano. Elizabeth Reyes sang “Into The Unknown.” Sisters Alliandra Snyder-Feintuch and Lairbelle Snyder-Feintuch did a gymnastic routine.

Haley Katz, Erin Fishman and Ian Fishman sang and danced to “Charlie Brown.” The trio captured third place and the $25 prize. Julianna Osses-Belo performed magic.
The “Queen of Mean” was sung by Valeria Via Lima. Emily Ciaccio did comedy.

Matthew Caparatta sang and danced to “Dance Monkey.” Justinn Melara did yo-yo tricks to the song “The Spectre.” Dancing was performed by Corey Shakur to the “Tik Tok Talent Show Mashup.”

Daniella Rosales sang “Hasta La Raiz.” “Baby Shark” was performed by Joy Ayangbesan on violin. Elijah Shivers sang “The Greatest Love.” Comedy was provided by Joseph Ciaccio and Gabriel Bowery doing “The Duck Song.” The duo placed second and took home $50. Priscilla Bardales Jimenez and Timothy Jimenez did a duet to “Someone You loved.”

“Light from the Shadow” was the music for Emily Gomez Marin’s gymnastics performance. Melanie Vasquez Castro sang “You Don’t Know Me.” Maylin Navarro and Kehily Reyes teamed on a comedy routine that captured first place and the $100 prize. Sophia Sanchez sang “Girl on Fire.”

Singin’ Sal (Caparatta) was the emcee and played the music. The $5 admission entitled audience members to one vote and there was a 50/50 raffle and other raffle prizes were won.
