Overcast Lawrence Middle School student recognized for volunteer services at Peninsula Public Library

Lawrence Middle School seventh-grader Sagar Verma was honored for his volunteer service to Peninsula Public Library by board members and staff.
Considered an excellent volunteer, by PPL officials, Verma was reliable and offered as much as he could to all areas of the library throughout the summer. He arrived on bicycle and could be counted to assist patrons and staff. Verma was a go-to person for patrons concerning electronic devices and technology.
Library officials said that were “grateful that he has chosen PPL as the educational environment in which to focus his talents.” A letter was sent to middle school Principal Willis Perry noting Verma’s volunteer work.
