The North Woodmere Park swimming pool complex is expected to open July 3. County playgrounds are now open.

Nassau County's 67 playgrounds in 35 parks are open as of Saturday.

The swimming pool complex at North Woodmere Park will be one of the four Nassau County pools that will open on July 3, Nassau County Executive Laura Curran said.

To adhere to reduced capacity and safety concerns because of the coronavirus pandemic all the pools will be limited to county residents only.

North Woodmere’s pool complex includes an Olympic-sized pool, a diving pool with boards, a water slide, and three pools for youngsters: a wading pool, a training pool, and an interactive water-play area.

The three other county parks with swimming pools are Cantiague Park, Christopher Morley Park and Wantagh Park.
