Alexis Pesenti, a soprano soloist, sang “First You Dream” by Fred Ebb and John Kander at the United Choral Society’s spring concert. She was one of four guest artists who sang solos in the program.

Soloist Jermaine Carroll, a bass singer, performed “Some Enchanted Evening” by Rogers and Hammerstein at the annual spring concert for the United Choral Society.
The United Choral Society presented its 73rd annual spring concert to a full house in Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library’s Gold Hall last Sunday. Led by Sharon Pesenti, conductor and accompanist Debbie Schall, the group performed such classics as Schubert’s Mass in G, a West Side Story medley, “You’re a Grand Old Flag,” and 11 more tunes. The concert was dedicated in memory of bass singer Harold Kohler, who was a past president and member of the chorus.
