‘Ice skating’ was popular and skaters had their share of falls and fun at Hewlett Elementary School’s Winter Wonderland on Dec. 15.

Hewlett Elementary School ushered in the season with a Winter Wonderland on Dec. 15 that stretched across the campus, and included an “ice skating” rink, giant inflatables, multiple tables of vendor goods, hot chocolate, a DJ, dancing, donuts, pretzels and a snow blowing machine.
The warmer than seasonal weather allowed families to mingle comfortably during the two-hour event sponsored by the HES PTA. Every child received a free gift and there were raffle prizes.
