A woman was shot on Bayview Avenue in Inwood after an argument between several men resulted in gunshots.

A 31 year old woman was shot in the pelvic area after an argument between several men resulted in gun fire on Bayview Avenue in Inwood on July 31 at 12:30 a.m., police said.
After the shots were fired, the men fled on foot, according to police. The woman, who was not involved in the squabble, was taken to an area hospital and admitted. Her injury is considered non-life threatening, police said.
