Young Israel of North Woodmere held its 34th annual dinner at the Sephardic Temple in Cedarhurst on April 7. The night honors congregants who have found a home within YINW and how the synagogue has impacted their lives.
Michele and Eli Chaikin said that they found a warm and welcoming community within YINW, adding it felt just like home. Mariana and Zev Gorbach said that becoming members made them finally felt like they belonged in the community. Judith and Zvi Gutman said that they have always felt welcomed and embraced at Young Israel of North Woodmere.
