Former president — and potential first gentleman — Bill Clinton will be speaking in Elmont on Tuesday in hopes of gaining support for his wife Hillary’s nomination before the April 19 presidential primary.
Secretary Clinton is facing a challenge from Vermont Senator and New York native Bernie Sanders, making the New York primary more contested than it has been in recent cycles.
President Clinton will speak with residents and leaders in the area shortly after 10 a.m. at the Vault where he will make the case that Hillary should be the 45th president and walk out of New York, the state that she represented in the Senate from 2000 to 2008, a winner.
