Four-legged friends took center stage at Garvies Point Dog Park on Oct. 18 as the Kiwanis Club of North Shore hosted its sixth annual dog show, bringing together local dog lovers for an afternoon of playful competition and community spirit. Organized in partnership with the North Shore High School Key Club, the event featured contests showcasing dogs’ creative costumes, impressive tricks and unique personalities. Founded in 2021 by Leslie Kle, the beloved community tradition offers more than just a chance for pets to shine, raising funds for charitable initiatives benefiting local children, including the Kiwanis Klothes for Kids program, which provides clothing to children in need.
