Browse among handmade gifts and goodies at St. Luke’s holiday market, Sunday, Dec. 10, 1-5 p.m. With music, crafts for kids and merry-making. Thursday, Dec. 14, Holiday multi association party

Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce, Downtown BID, Gold Coast Business Association, and North Shore Hispanic Chamber of Commerce invite all to their end-of-year holiday party, Thursday, Dec. 14, 6-10 p.m., at the Metropolitan, $75 per person includes cocktail hour, open bar, dinner and desserts. 3 Pratt Blvd., Glen Cove. Annual toy drive with Assemblyman Charles Lavine

Assemblyman Charles Lavine is kicking-off his annual toy drive and will be accepting donations of new, unwrapped gifts, which will go to families in need

Drop-offs can be made at Lavine’s district office, 1 School St., Suite 303-B, Glen Cove, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.. In addition, toys may also be left at the Bryant Library in Roslyn; Glen Cove Public Library, and Oyster Bay-East Norwich Public Library in Oyster Bay; during regular library hours. Donations will be accepted through Dec. 15.

Sunday Dec. 10, Sea Cliff hosts Merry Makers Holiday Market

The Sea Cliff Arts Council and Gold Coast Business Association have joined together to organize the Merry Makers Holiday Market. Local businesses will be selling handmade gifts and goodies of all types, perfect gifts for the holiday season.

Eventgoers will also be able to enjoy live music, crafts for kids and all types of merry-making. Following the event there will also be a Marketplace March, which will encourage residents to walk the streets of Sea Cliff and support local shops and businesses.

The event will take place on Dec. 10, running from 1 to 5 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Parish and Community Hall, located at the corner of Glenlawn Avenue and Adams Street in Sea Cliff. The march will run the same day, from the start of business hours to 5 p.m.
