Watch out! The Grinch made an appearance during Lynbrook village’s annual tree lighting ceremony — but perhaps being around so many smiling neighbors made his heart grow three sizes that day.

Lynbrook got festive over the weekend as the village came aglow with holiday lights. Neighbors came together the celebrate Christmas through the village’s blessing of the crèche, a dance performance and adorably festive outfits.

Hundreds of onlookers were delighted by the holiday display, and even had the chance to meet Santa Claus and the Grinch — who undoubtedly couldn’t steal Christmas from Lynbrook if he tried.
