The Morgan Park Summer Music Festival is celebrating its 67th season in 2026, continuing a Glen Cove tradition of free waterfront concerts that has brought the community together for nearly seven decades. Presented by an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization and supported entirely through donations from individuals and local businesses, the festival offers nine Sunday evening concerts at Morgan Memorial Park overlooking Hempstead Harbor. The season began July 5 with Richie Cannata & The Lords of 52nd Street and continues through Aug. 30 with a diverse lineup that includes Earth, Wind & Fire Experience by Marvin Floyd & D’Votion, Real Diamond, The World Goes ‘Round, The Allmost Brothers, Jessica Lynn, the Massapequa Philharmonic Orchestra performing a patriotic program celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, The HooDoo Loungers and the season finale featuring Decadia. All concerts begin at 7 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnics to enjoy the performances. The festival remains one of Glen Cove’s most cherished summer traditions, providing residents and visitors with free live entertainment in a scenic waterfront setting.
