Overcast Opa! Festival celebrates Greek heritage in Glen Cove

There’s a lot to look forward to, as the weather starts to warm up, and a festival is the perfect way to kick off what’s fun with friends and family. The festival last weekend, hosted by the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Resurrection, was set on the sunny backdrop of the newly constructed Garvies Point and Hempstead Harbor.
The festival offered rides and scrumptious Greek food. Local vendors offered an array of unique items including toys, bags, t-shirts and jewelry with the Evil Eye.
