Two men were arrested and charged after Nassau police said they sold prohibited vape products on March 23 around 8:30 p.m.
Officers were conducting an investigation into the sale of flavored vape products at XpressMart on Foxhurst Road in Baldwin when, police said, they observed a large quantity of flavored vape products, kratom and pepper spray canisters displayed for sale.
Ketankumar Patel, 35, of Flushing, and Hiteshkumar Shah, 50, of Hicksville, both employees of the store, were each charged with sale of restricted products, sale of flavored products prohibited and unlawfully selling noxious materials.
They were issued desk appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear at First District Court in Hempstead on April 16.
