The Ladies Auxiliary of the Father Joseph O’Connell Council No. 3481 Knights of Columbus hosted a lively evening of entertainment with its “Soupranos” Murder Mystery Dinner Show at O’Connell Gardens in Oceanside.
Guests stepped into a world of mobsters, mystery and comedy as they gathered for the interactive dinner theater experience on Feb. 28. The three-hour event featured a live comedic performance in which attendees worked together to solve a fictional “crime” unfolding throughout the night.
Tickets included a full three-course meal along with the live show. Throughout the evening, audience members were encouraged to participate in the mystery, adding to the excitement and laughter as the storyline developed.
Many guests embraced the theme by arriving dressed as mobsters and mob wives, complete with fedoras, pinstripe suits, flashy jewelry and vintage-inspired outfits. Organizers also held a best-dressed contest, awarding prizes to attendees who fully embraced the mob-style attire.
The event brought together members of the community for a night of food, fun and fellowship, with plenty of playful moments as participants attempted to uncover the culprit behind the evening’s mystery.
