A man, not yet identified, died after suffering injuries in a two-car crash on Oct. 20 near 5:30 p.m. in Oceanside, Nassau police said.
A 2026 Jeep Wrangler driven by a woman, 39 was heading south on Long Beach Road when it collided with a 2007 Ford Mustang operated by a woman, 34, who was traveling west on Windsor Parkway crossing over Long Beach Road, according to police.
Both women were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. The man, 60, a passenger in the Mustang was also taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a doctor at the hospital.
Police said the investigation is continuing.
