The Long Beach Hotel will host the Kiwanis of Long Beach on Sept. 29, which will include a presentation from local historian Joel Greenberg, at 7:30 p.m., on the sights and sounds of Long Beach.
Greenberg’s presentation will explore the barrier islands of Atlantic Beach, Long Beach, Lido Beach and Point Lookout, from their historic beginnings and landmarks to the challenges and opportunities that shaped its future.
Doors to the Long Beach Hotel’s Ballroom, 405 E. Broadway, will open at 6 p.m. The evening will include happy hour specials and refreshments, as well as music by Chris Solimeno. Admission is free.
