East Rockaway seniors were celebrated by family, friends and community members during the village’s annual Pre-Prom Parade at the East Rockaway Waterfront on June 25 before heading to prom.

Students and their dates walked along the waterfront, stopping for photos and greeting spectators as residents gathered to wish them well on one of the biggest nights of their high school careers.

Hosted by Mayor Gordon Fox and the Village Board of Trustees, the annual event provides a safe and scenic setting for graduates to celebrate with the community before leaving for prom.
