Registration for the Town of Oyster Bay’s fall and winter youth ice hockey program will begin soon for boys and girls ages 8U- 16U. This program includes a training camp, full house league game schedule, and playoffs. Clinics spanning 10 weeks in duration will also be available for registration including all girls’ clinics, 6U clinics, and adult learn to play clinics. Programs will begin on Sept. 27.
“This recreational and instruction program is designed to give players a great way to learn the correct fundamentals of one of America’s most popular sports,” Town Councilman Lou Imbroto wrote in a statement. “In addition to receiving instruction on the proper techniques of skating, stickhandling and shooting, participants will make new friends and create lifelong memories.”
