On Oct. 2, Levittown’s MacArthur High School welcomed students, families, alumni and community members for a memorable homecoming celebration, bringing together Generals past, present and future for a day filled with school pride, tradition and excitement.

The festivities began with a spirited homecoming parade that kicked off at Gardiners Avenue Elementary School and proceeded to MacArthur High School. Led by central office administrators, board of education members and the MacArthur marching band, student representatives from various teams and clubs marched alongside staff and future Generals from across the district. Families and community members lined the route, celebrating the pride and unity that make homecoming a cherished annual tradition. The Jonas E. Salk Middle School marching band brought the parade to a spirited close as participants made their way toward the field.

Following the parade, the MacArthur High School marching band performed the National Anthem, setting the stage for the remainder of the celebration. Senior recognition ceremonies honored student participants for their dedication and contributions to their teams and the school community, while the introduction of the Homecoming Court culminated with the crowning of Lorenzo Rojas and Adrianna Vargas as Homecoming King and Queen.

Despite increasingly rainy conditions, the celebration continued uninterrupted. The MacArthur High School Cheer and Kickline teams energized the crowd with outstanding halftime performances.

On the field, the varsity football team delivered an exciting homecoming matchup, keeping fans engaged and adding to the enthusiasm that defined the event.

From the parade through the final whistle, MacArthur's homecoming served as a celebration of school spirit, community connection and the traditions that continue to unite Generals throughout Levittown.
