Team "Strides For Stephen" are sporting special fundraising wristbands: "#livingforsteve". Proceeds go to a memorial scholarship set in his name at his grammar school, St Elizabeth Ann Seton RS in Bellmore where Stephen graduated in 2002.
Darren Fink, Jackie Clifford, Amy & Nick Leggio and Greg Milano all ran the mile for Team 'Strides For Stephen'.
Butch, Katie and Kerry Veigl, Stephen Clifford Sr, and Andy, Brianna & Kayla Towey all on hand to support Team "Stride For Stephen".
Tommy & Jennie McGuire, Jess Dzienius, Pam Karchinski, Jackie & Kellie Clifford and Nadia Ahmendein, "Clifford Siblings" began training recently and successfully completed Bellmore Striders 4 mile race on the 4th of July.
4th of July Bellmore Striders' Independence Day Race had a strong showing from team 'Strides For Stephen'.
Honoring Stephen Andrew Clifford, (killed tragically in April when hit by a car driven by an off-duty Jersey City police officer) his family members and friends decided to enter the annual race of his Bellmore hometown. Stephen was two days from running his first half marathon as an alumni at Rutgers UNITE race in April. His family has picked up the running bug to honor him, and more than 60 other friends and family ran in support of the team for Stephen. We thank the Bellmore Striders for their help in allowing 'Strides For Stephen' participate in their annual Independence Day Run.
