7/26 Performance of Usdan/BAM Creative Writing Project

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, the renowned summer arts day camp, collaborated on a new project with the famous Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) Summer Youth Program to write a dramatic piece on a specific theme. The theme chosen was War, and creative writing students aged 11-18 wrote monologues and scenes around it: the soldiers, families, refugees, politicians, profiteers and other areas, in a hard-hitting piece performed in front of an audience on Friday July 26 at the BAM Fisher, BAM's newest space for drama.
