Rita Stirpe, the daughter of Paola and Enzo Stirpe of New Hyde Park, and Michael Mollish, the son of Karen and Chris Mollish of Franklin Square were engaged on July 4th. The couple first began dating in 2006. This beautiful proposal took place at the Annual Stewart Manor Fourth of July Parade. As Michael Mollish approached in Franklin Square and Munson Fire Department’s Engine 712, a banner was unveiled on the side of the truck as it approached where Rita was standing. To her surprise Michael proceeded to exit the truck and popped the question down on one knee surrounded by many family and friends. What a beautiful experience for them both!
