The Valley Stream Historical Society hosted its annual costume contest on Oct. 25 for children at the Pagan-Fletcher Restoration. Even adults joined in the fun. Historical society members greeted guests at the door fully dressed up for Halloween.
First prize went to Angelina Greene, dressed as a snow queen. Page Smith won second place for her costume, Nightmare after Christmas. The third place winner was mad scientist Matthew Tineo.
