"I feel happy that I can go through school and know about it and know the history of it, know the people," Amanda Partridge said of her time at St. Christopher's. She will attend Kellenberg High School next year.
Amanda Partridge made the most of her experience by participating in numerous extracurricular activities like drama club, Math Olympiads, basketball and the board-game club, she said. The link to her family's past at the school was made even more apparent when Amanda Partridge pointed out that her mother had the same principal as she did.
"I was the seventh out of my family that went there," said mother Susan Partridge, who was the baby of the family, "There was no option."
Susan Partridge graduated in 1983, and she recalled how the school "uniforms weren't too thrilling to wear" during that time. However, she said they have improved a little since then. In addition to Amanda's recent experience there, the family's legacy seems to continue, since Susan Partridge still has two other children in St. Christopher's and another little one who will follow in their footsteps in the future.
"They always made you feel welcome so it was all just a good time," Amanda Partridge said. She expressed her mixed sentiments as she left the school so close to her family's heart. "That was exciting and sad at the same time," she said.
