The Nassau Music Educators Association has awarded Hannah Chiappisi The Joseph and Clara Sugar Scholarship for summer study at the LIU Post Chamber Music Festival.  This program will allow her to work with several advanced chamber ensembles in addition to attending master classes lead by The Pierrot Consort Ensemble as well as many distinguished visiting musicians.

In September, Hannah will attend Lynbrook High School as a freshman. She will be continuing her violin studies and is looking forward to working with the music department at the high school.

Hannah will also continue playing with The Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, which starts its season in September. She has advanced again this year and will now play with The Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Patricia Koppeis.
