The Town of Hempstead presented a “Tribute to the Divas” on July 2 at Shell Creek Park in Island Park, and the Island Park Business and Residential Chamber held an informal “Ladies Night” prior to the concert. The Chamber offered appetizers and beverages in the community room, which the ladies enjoyed during the evening twilight, and then Jay Cee took to the band shell stage for the evening’s musical entertainment.
