Rockville Centre's Brittany Kahn recently took a turn as Sally in the University of Mary Washington's production of “Reefer Madness” in the school's Studio 115.
Kahn is the daughter of Joel and Caryl Kahn of Rockville Centre and is a 2009 graduate of South Side High School.
A freshman, Kahn previously appeared in the the UMW production of “Romeo and Juliet” and is a member of PRISM. She is the recipient of the Scholarship Excellent Award.
A musical written by Dan Studney and Kevin Murphy, “Reefer Madness” is the story of Jimmy Harper and Mary Lane, a teenage couple whose wholesome values are corrupted when they begin using marijuana. The political satire questions American values as the pair is immersed into a world of sin, jeopardy and depravity.
