Peninsula Counseling Center hosts; Rolling River Goodmans honored

This year Mark, Rhonda, and Marissa Goodman of Rolling River Day Camp in East Rockaway/Oceanside will be honored by Peninsula Counseling Center

Peninsula Counseling Center, headquartered in Valley Stream will host “A Tasteful Evening” on Monday, October 18 at the Woodmere Club, Meadow Drive, Woodmere. Over 40 Premier local restaurants, bakeries, vineyards and chocolatiers will provide samplings of fine wine, food, and desserts.

This year Mark, Rhonda, and Marissa Goodman of Rolling River Day Camp in East Rockaway/Oceanside will be honored. The Goodman’s will be recognized for establishing and working for the success of the Campmates Program, a program supported by local businesses that provides scholarships for young children at Peninsula Counseling Center who would otherwise not be able to afford a summer camp experience.
