The Rockville Centre Library celebrated with a visit from author Elisabeth Egan during its 5th Annual End of Sumer Soirée on Aug. 10. Egan, the books editor at Glamour Magazine, read a section from her newest book, “A Window Opens.” The novel tells the story of a wife and mother of three who leaps at the chance to fulfill her professional destiny — only to learn every opportunity comes at a price. Everyone enjoyed delicious refreshments and Egan signed books for library patrons afterwards.
