Center for Science, at Tanglewood Preserve in Rockville Centre, us a 17-acre preserve complete with ponds, nature trails, and a fishing pier. The facility features a science lab for kids and a wildlife rescue center. Run by the Center for Science Teaching and Learning (CSTL), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to science education, the Center for Science offers an array of activities for kids year round. The LI Arts Council at Freeport is now accepting entries for its 27th Annual Juried Photography Show, June 2-28, 2007. Entries must be submitted as JPEGS on CD. Submissions will be reviewed by master photographer Rick Sammon, who will make the selections for exhibit and awards.
