Center for Science at Tanglewood Preserve, Rockville Centre, is a 17-acre preserve complete with ponds, nature trails, and a fishing pier. Run by the Center for Science Teaching and Learning, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to science education, the Center for Science offers an array of activities for children and adults year round. down the Isle: Wedding traditions on Long Island explores the cultural transformation of wedding traditions, from its roots in the area's rural past to modern day extravaganzas.
