Center for Science at Tanglewood Preserve, Rockville Centre, is a 17-acre preserve complete with ponds, nature trails, and a fishing pier. Run by the Center for Science Teaching and Learning, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to science education, the Center for Science offers an array of activities for children and adults year round. Fashion and Art: From Marie Antoinette to Jacqueline Kennedy brings together work by leading artists such as Renoir, Lautrec, Cezanne, Cassatt, Wm. M. Chase, Picasso, Warhol and photographers such as Avedon and Horst, each of whom has either influenced or has been influenced by the fashions of the times. man ray and the age of electricity features the original and compelling solarized images created by Man Ray, who used electricity to create two new types of photographs that changed the medium forever.
