Center for Science at Tanglewood Preserve, Rockville Centre, is a 17-acre preserve complete with ponds, nature trails, and a fishing pier. Run by the Center for Science Teaching and Learning, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to science education, the Center for Science offers an exciting array of activities for children and adults year round. alfred maurer: The first American modern is an exhibit of varied works of the prolific, innovative and progressive artist, of the early Modern period. Infamous New York: Bosses, Burlesque & Mayhem is an original examination of how New York's vital character of notoriety arose from the tensions wrought by crowding, crime, corruption and mayhem from the end of World War I into the 1950s, as New York evolved into a world capital.
