An Easter meditation

The one thing that holds true in the midst of all the turmoil is the fact that God desperately loves humanity. For the followers of Christ, this was clearly demonstrated some 2000 years ago when Jesus Christ gave his life to reconcile humanity to the Father.
The Lenten season speaks of God-s amazing love for humankind.The common banner often displayed at ball games refers to a passage found in the gospel of John. The following verse clarifies God-s love for us. John 3:16-17: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Easter is the highlight of the Christian calendar, when Christians throughout the world celebrate Christ-s resurrection from the dead. It is the event that gives Christians a living hope because of their living Savior.
May God bring the hope of the Risen Living Savior to you and yours this Easter.
