One of the world’s most beloved musicals came to life in the village last weekend as 7th and 8th students at St. Agnes Cathedral School wowed audiences with three performances of “Annie.” Based on the comic strip “Little Orphan Annie,” the original Broadway production, with unforgettable songs that include “Tomorrow” and “It’s the Hard-Knock Life,” originally opened in 1977, winning the Tony Award for Best Musical, running for nearly six years and spawning numerous productions.
