The East Rockaway School District’s fifth and sixth-grade Enterprise class have been studying architecture this year, and recently completed research projects on unique architectural structures. The students built replicas of the Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal, the Roman Coliseum, the Louvre, the Empire State Building, the Freedom Tower and Twin Towers, the Pyramids of Giza, and the Shell House of Japan. Students shared their research findings using PowerPoint presentations and interactive handouts that they created for their peers.
