The members of the art club and their supervisor, teacher Jillian Martinelli, held this year’s annual Valentine’s Day fundraiser at Lynbrook South Middle School. They created Valentine’s Day cards and put together a sweet treat package for all students to purchase during their lunch periods.
The money raised, over $300, went to making Valentine’s Day brighter for the residents at the Lynbrook Atria Senior Living Center. The students visited the living center and delivered special treats. Also, some of the profit went to the art club to fund upcoming projects.
