David Cassidy

Hailing from a family of actors, David Cassidy's fate as a performer was essentially seeded at a young age. It was by coincidence that he wound up starring with stepmother Shirley Jones in the astonishing success "The Partridge Family." Extreme sports

Nationally ranked pros and amateurs of extreme sports and various music bands are getting together for the Panasonic Shockwave Tour at Jones Beach from August 24 to 26. The event will feature several competitions, including the "King of Dirt Pro-Am," a BMX face-off with aerial flips, tricks and specialized moves, and "Razor Rage," a micro-scooter battle of tricks, jumps, and freestyle moves.
