Southern Boogie
Charlie Daniels (above), 38 Special, Dickey Bets, and Trent Summar & the New Row Mob, four country-music bands, will be traveling to north to the Westbury Music Fair on June 7. Daniels, the featured act, is known for the song "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," as well as his innovative music that's somewhere between folk and electric rock. Sledge-O-Matic?
One-of-a-kind comedian Gallagher will be demonstrating the "Sledge-O-Matic" on June 9 at the Westbury Music Fair. Wielding the device, Gallagher likes to shower his audience with the pulverized remains of apples, oranges and watermelon. When not on stage, Gallagher enjoys inventing unusual machinery out of common objects, such as a caged four-wheel motorcycle.
