Alvin Ailey dancers
Called the "Rolls Royce of American dance" by "New York" Magazine, The Alvin Ailey Dance Company has been dedicated to the performance and enrichment of American modern dance and to black cultural expression. The Ailey troupe have staged more than 170 works since its inception in 1958. Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, Long Island University, C.W. A walk through a garden
Visitors to the Old Westbury Gardens on May 5 and 6 will step back in time to the early 19OO's. Tour guides in costume and displays of photos and mannequins will help depict the history of the Westbury House and its former residents John and Margarita Phipps.
