County Fair

The Belmont Stakes Fair will be returning to Belmont Park for its 4th consecutive year. Features include more than 100 spectacular amusement rides and attractions, including a "kiddieland," magic acts, puppet shows, a petting zoo, staged entertainment, carnival games, and food. Fair takes place on weekends between Friday, April 13, and Sunday, May 6; opens Fridays at 5 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday at 12 noon; $5 admission.

Winery Tour

Celebrate Long Island's wine industry with the Nassau County Museum of Art. A repeat of a popular event, NCMA's resident wine connoisseur Julius Harris will host a tour on April 28 of the Jamesport Vineyards, Peconic Bay Winery, and Pelligrini Vineyards, in North Fork. Along the way, there will be stops at the famed Briemere Farm, and The Old Barge restaurant in Southhold for lunch. Nassau County Museum of Art, One Museum Drive, Roslyn Harbor.
